Coquelicot Estate Vineyard

Jonathan Rosenson’s wine project was born in 1997 and is in some ways the perfect example of the American dream, as he explains with great emotion and recognition. The story of Coquelicot Estate and Rose & Son goes back a long way, and Jonathan is part of a line of European immigrants who had to rebuild their lives upon arrival on the American continent after the Second World War. Its minimalist philosophy is reflected in authentic wines highlighting Bordeaux grape varieties since the climate of the region is similar to that of Bordeaux. His estate located in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley is certified in organic farming, the winemaking techniques are gentle and meticulous and aim to produce “handmade” wines, in limited quantities, which are for him a true celebration of life.
